About SeaPort NxG
SeaPort NxG is the Navy Virtual SYSCOM Commanders' (NAVAIR, NAVFAC, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, NAVWAR, and ONR) integrated approach to contracting for Professional Support Services (PSS). This initiative also includes the Military Sealift Command (MSC) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC). SeaPort NxG represents a key strategy for meeting the Department of Navy's (DON) contracting needs through the electronic procurement of Technical, Engineering, and other professional services.
Key Features
Integrated Contracting Approach: SeaPort NxG provides a unified platform for various Navy commands and associated organizations to procure professional support services efficiently.
Rolling Admissions: Contractors are preapproved through a process called Rolling Admissions, allowing a large and diverse community of contractors to bid on work, either individually or in teaming arrangements.
No PMO Fees: The SeaPort NxG Program Management Office (PMO) does not charge a fee for using the contract, making it a cost-effective solution for the Navy's contracting needs.
Contract Details
Ceiling Value: SeaPort NxG has a $20 billion ceiling, ensuring ample funding for a wide range of projects and services.
Ordering Period: The contract includes a five-year base ordering period and a five-year optional ordering period, ending in December 2029.
Period of Performance: Awarded task orders can have their period of performance extend beyond the end of the ordering period for up to five years, providing flexibility and continuity for long-term projects.
